AMD Turion64 upgrade to Turion64 X2 TL-50?

jaimegimenez 08-01-2007, 11:55 PM I have a HP dv6000z notebook with a AMD Turion64 cpu and I was wondering if it would be logical and possible to replace it with a Turion64 X2 TL-50 dual core mobile? All my research says I can, but I want to be totally positive because I'm poor and I have to save all the money I can. Also, is it a easy install? I'm not familiar with notebook hardware. I run programs like Ableton Live 6, Photoshop CS2, and Sonar 6. I don't know if those are considered professional progs.
