New Linux Issue

Ok,well i finally got DSL (Damn Small Linux)to install (stupid me was trying to tell it to install to the wrong drive),now How the heck do you access files on a CD or Floppy while running it???only thing i can access is the music cd's.i can tell it's gonna take me awhile to learn this one :haha:

removable devices are controlled via MOUNT and UMOUNT (see man mount)

the file /etc/fstab is where you save the parms for each physical device
(eg /dev/floppy, /dev/cdrom) you wish to control

you need to be ROOT to issue mount/umount
