new Nvidia card Running way too hot!

dkardaris 09-07-2007, 06:45 PM Hey, I just replaced a ATI X1600 with a NvIdia 8600GT and my temperature (no OC) starts out at like 67C and jumps up to 110C. Whats going on here? My my ATI card never got above 76C. Im scared im going to melt the floor after a whole is burned in the computer. Any thoughts? The ATI card ran fine.
