My sister was waiting untill midnight for the release, she got the "Legendary Edition" that came with the helmet, the extra CD with all the downloadable stuff for your xbox, she got the "Halo Edition" Xbox 360 and all that... she's a Halo Nerd!! :haha:

Did anyone else see on the news that Microsoft is hoping that Halo3 will pull enough punters to actually make the xbox360 profitable for the first time since launch?!
Apparently its made a loss since launch due to recalls and repairs etc.

yeh, mc lost heaps from xbx 360 and xbx. i dont think halo3 will do it for them though. maybe in a couple years they'll make start making good profit, but not at the moment.

The game is good online, the single player is kind of lame but still good :)

I'm not much of a Halo Fan but this one is atleast decent, The only problem is that in Halo 2 you had a really overpowered weapon ( the sword ), they dumbed it down in Halo 3 but added a new weapon ( a Gravity hammer, when you get hit it's 1 shot kill and anyone near you gets really hurt or dies aswell ) that is like 50x worst then the sword :haha:

Haha lol, it took M$ 3 years to bring Halo 2 to PC, I doubt they plan on taking Halo 3 to PC anytime soon. Besides Halo 2 PC was just a marketing tool, it's Vista only and people who want Halo 2 are willing to upgrade.

last night i found some girls(may be one of them was TimeParadoX's sister) expressing their opinions on halo 3 after their first hand experience of the gameplay through a television news channel,but almost all of them were saying that the game was too slow and was not up to their expectation,i wasn't much surprised as this is the normal feedback from gamers after each and every overhyped and overrated release from microsoft....

I agree, everyone at my school are like "ZOMG GEARS OF WAR = TEH BEST LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL" just because of the hype for it, I returned mine 2 days after I bought it...

All games that are WAY overhyped are always bad, they spend millions to market it everywhere ( TV, websites and other random stuff ) then it ends up getting 2/5 on X-play on G4TV :|

Some games are linux compatible, I heard valve's games ( Counterstrike, Half-life, and maybe Garry's Mod ) will work with Linux, Also some other games will work for Linux like World of Warcraft, TES: Oblivion ( haven't tested but I seen my friend play it on his linux ) and some others.
