Earlier on I received a note from Futuremark announcing a new patch (http://www.futuremark.com/pressroom/pressreleases/?111103) for 3DMark03 in order to obtain "an objective 3DMark03 performance comparison with the latest hardware and drivers".
Futuremark states from now on this should be the only valid version (340) of 3DMark03 to be used in official statistics, obviously due to software cheats used in the past with such benchmarking tools. Download the patch here (http://www.futuremark.com/pressroom/pressreleases/?111103).
