what could be the problem (besides the memory, I ran the manufacturers disk check utility - its ok, and run a cpu stability test, its also ok....).

Thanks, Damjan

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

There are several possible causes of a D1 stop error, including faulty drivers or hardware.

Go and read this thread HERE (http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic51365.html) and see if it helps you to identify the culprit.

If it doesn`t, please attach 5 or 6 of your latest minidumps.

Regards Howard

Hi!

I tested the memory overnight - no problems
ibm disk utility and chkdsk did not find any problems
I reset the page file (no problems in the last 2 hours)
it did not overheat - cpu stress test and full antivirus scan raised temp to 44 centigrade on both cpu and disk (Pentium M 1.8 - its an laptop)

there were no problems since I dit all that, but the laptop must work ok in couple of days (my coworker needs it), I'd appreciate if someone checked the minidumps

Thanx, Damjan

All the crashes are caused by w22n51.sys. See HERE (http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-57964).
