Hello Everyone, i have a new Acer aspire notebook and sometimes when i plug in my usb mouse my sound goes away. I usually have to unplug it and restart to get it back. Anyone know why this might happen? Thanks.

Sounds like the audio and the mouse device are conflicting or using the same IRQ. Who makes the mouse? Did you install the drivers for the USB mouse first or did you attach the mouse and then installed the drivers. Is this a VISTA Home OS? Does the mouse support Vista on their site?

It is made my IO Gear, i just plugged it in and let windows install it, yes it is Vista and it says it supports it.
