i bought a Compaq Presario C702 having only free DOS as OS.. I installed windows XP sp2 and i cant find a suitable audio driver.. hp-compaq's website doesnt even have a device driver for it...

could you help me out?

Your best bet might be to buy a cheap PCI sound card instead of spending ages looking for a driver for this.
You could also check www.driversguide.com for it - if you can cope with the interrogation, nagging and silly questions.
