Installing HP C4280 on Mac OS X

tie_mann101 10-26-2007, 05:16 PM I am trying to install an HP C4280 onto a Mac notebook running Mac OS X v. 10.4.9. It meets all requirements and the install goes alright. However, the setup assistant asks me to select a device from a list, but it doesn't recognize the printer as a device. I have tried the install with the printer powered both on and off, but still nothing. Any suggestions? vnf4ultra 10-26-2007, 08:40 PM If you used the software on the disc, it may be outdated. Otherwise, I'd say the printer's defective(or maybe the usb cable).
