My usb ports used to work just fine till a few backs. then they suddenly stopped working.
when i uninstall the driver and try to re install it the error it gives is "the driver installation file for this device is missing a necessary entry. this may be because the inf was written for windows 95 or later."
my operating system is xp with service pack 2. i tried reinstalling the drivers using the intel configuration utility but it still gives the same error.
some of the usb devices that i used before the problem started occurring still work such as my mouse and mobile charger
please help !!
