Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Sound like your hardware engineer doesn`t know what he`s doing.

If your system is an oem build such as Dell/gateway/Compaq etc, go to your computer manufacturers website and download all the drivers for your system, including the chipset drivers.

If your system is custom built, then you`ll need to go to you mobo(motherboard) manufacturers website, where you will need to download all the drivers for your mobo, including it`s chipset drivers.

Regards Howard

That`s good news.

Obviously, when your hardware engineer installed Windows, he didn`t bother to install the drivers for your mobo. ;)

Regards Howard :)
