Water Cooling ?

farmer 12-05-2003, 09:43 PM My question here is, would water cooling without a chiller, make enough of a difference to make it worthwhile? I have a P4 3.0c and an Asus P4P800 mobo, and I OC to the max. I seem to have reached the limits with air, and thought I would like to try something more exotic. Probably would start with the GPU and NB, then do the CPU later... Thanks for any input... I'd do the CPU first, too, but actually a WB for the Vid and NB would only add another $60-80 to the cost. I'd recommend a radiator that is big enough for two 120 mm fans. They are a lot quieter than the little screamers on an air cooled HSF and even quieter than the standard case fans. I like the way the hose ends connect on the Swiftech kits, myself, and their waterblocks are of fairly good performance. |
