This has potential to somehow be used as a failsafe since usualy the safety limit with temperature is 165 faranheit

an idea for when you have plug and play HDDs that run very hot you could code a microcontroller so that when the (very VERY small) magnet falls off the HDD the power to the drive will be cut.
