Just wondering where device drivers are located in WinXP? i need to extract them to inlcude them in an image and this requires the chipset, video, and nic.

qryptiq 12-12-2007, 09:32 AM Just wondering where device drivers are located in WinXP? i need to extract them to inlcude them in an image and this requires the chipset, video, and nic. thanks Javier LookinAround 12-12-2007, 10:44 AM This may be an easier solution Install a freeware tool DriverMax (http://www.innovative-sol.com/drivermax/index.htm) You can start the tool and select the following Driver Operations Installed Drivers Report (get a detailed list of all the drivers being used) Export Drivers (export all your drivers to a folder or compressed file) Import Drivers (after a new installation just import your drivers) One warning: The "Check for Driver Updates" section is not 100% accurate.
