I'm having a strange problem with my DVD drive. It's an HP dvd 840. Everything seems to work ok but it will not read data based DVDs. It reads both data and music cds, and it reads movie dvds but no data. It seems to write fine with these but when I try to put the disc back in it won't read and gives a basic error message "cannot read from this disk, it could be corrupt etc".
