DAY 3 of LINUX NITMARE

Ok......3rd install of Linux. Here we go. After bieng in my new Linux install (about 2 hours). I was installing an rpm package. then my cd player froze, which also froze Linux (Linux is suppose to be more sable than that!!!)) Well i had no choice but to hit the power switch............OHLA!!!!! Linux erased itself!!!! Whut a retarded OS....omg......Windows 95 is way more stable than that. Can anyone tell me whut went wrong with the file system and how to recover from it.>?>>
