I'm looking for a new graphics card for my pc (dell dimension 3000, 3GHz, 1gig ram) my current graphics card is a (n-VIDIA Geforce4 MX440-8x-PCI-TV/64MB) I want to upgrade to a 256mb graphics card, although the ones i have been looking at have different slots compared to mine.

You need to go to the Dell website, look up your PC model and read what type of graphics card your motherboard can handle, i.e., PCI only or can it handle AGP.

I can't see a AGP or PCI-E slot

Is this true that there are only 3 PCI slots, and nothing else ?

If you do not have a PCI-Express slot, then you are limited in buying a PCI only video card.

Time to update your computer I feel
