Anyone know why UT GOTYE would run funny on a laptop well enough outfitted for it? UT seems to go super slow then all of the sudden it will be like I turned the Game speed up to 150% then back slow, fast, slow, fast etc. Anyone know why maybe?

We will need the system specs of the laptop.

Probably because of your computer's power-saving features. As far as I know, the game detects the CPU speed in the beginning of the game, when your CPU may run at reduced speed (laptops more usually than desktops). Once in the game, the CPU goes at "normal" speed, and thus the game's internal timer goes faster as well. It may look like normal game speed where the CPU load isn't at 100%.

Well, it has no problem with any other game. So you think I should tryi and open another game to get CPU usage all the way up then open it and let you know the outcome?
