Just like ordinary popup's but I'm on Mozilla firefox and it will continuously pop-up websites in internet explorer, I've tried a number of popup blockers which haven't worked?

Open Firefox> Tools> Options> Content> CHECK 'block pop-ups.'

Then Tools> Options> Main> System Defaults> CHECK 'always check at startup to see if Firefox is the default browser'> Check now.

Control Panel> Internet Options> Programs tab> UNCHECK 'Internet Explorer should check to see if it is the default browser'> Apply> OK

If these settings are in place and you still get the pop-ups, you have a malware infection.
