I was wondering what is more accurate, the program speedfan which says my cpu is 41C or Nvidia system monitor program which says it is 55C

Depends on where the sensor is. Both are within the safe range of 62C
I would use the sensor with the higher temperature as my control... as you are merely trying to prevent excess temperatures.

I trust NVIDIA more, but like raybay said both are under a threshold of 60C so you should be safe.

would the bios readings be the most accurate though?

yes, the bios would likely be the best bet as far as temperature of your CPU goes.

Get a couple of other programs to look into this. You can download "PC Wizard" and "Everest". Between all of these, you should be able to figure out what the temp really is.
