I want to buy a gfx card based on geforce-8600gts.
Please suggest me some good brands.
I am a resident of India, and here XFX geforce 8600 gts 256mb is available.
Please tell ame about the card.
My exixsing pc has a psu of 350w(iball). does it need extra power to support the card, or need to buy a new psu of high power rating.If u wanna suggest dome other brands like gigabyte etc.

XFX is a fine brand.

Nobody is going to be able to tell you whether or not your current PSU can handle the extra load based on only the wattage. There is much more to it than that. Either give us a specific model, or open the side of your case up and look at the sticker on the PSU. Carefully, post what you see.

You need the extra power connection for the GTS.
