Help - no sounds in XP but sounds in media player
I have recently re-installed XP home edition and now do not have any window sounds. I can get sounds from the Media Player and VLC media player. The sounds are enabled within sounds and audio device but do not play. My PC is a home build (not by me) Asus A8V-E Deluxe and it has been a real pig over the last few weeks and I am starting to pull out the last of my remaining hair in frustration.
