NSIS error with AVG

I'm trying to download AVG-AS to help fix a virus I found, and I am using the post from
topic 58138[can't post link] as reference. The only problem at this point I'm having is trying to download the AVG-AS. It says it is corrupt. How can I get this downloaded so I can complete this project?

Direct link: http://free.grisoft.com/filedir/inst....1.43-3339.exe 13.5Meg (and then you need to update it, with more downloads)

Either use another computer to download it (then burn to CD or copy to flash drive, to transfer it)
Or keep trying. (You're not on dial-up I hope)

Ok 13.5 Meg on Dial-Up is a big download.

Maybe you could use someone's high speed Internet.
Either by downloading all programs (and any manual updates) then save to CD/Flash
Or by plugging your computer into someones high speed Internet modem.

Or keep trying!

If you have a virus, an anti-spyware program isn't going to remove it.

A NSIS Error message box means the installer you're trying to run is corrupted. It means the installer data was somehow modified and is no longer valid. ...

Why do you 'think' you have a virus? What is it? Have you run your anti-virus program?

I have/had JS Downlaoder found on my AVG, so I googled it and came across this site with the thread on removing it. I think its gone now, as I've followed directions to that post and other than the AVG AS, I ran my AVG AV again and it is clear.

yep! I got it restarted! Thanks for asking! Doing this kind of stuff sure stretches the mind![for someone slightly computer literate!]
