My HP Altec Lansing is death

please help me ! I have dual boot (vista/Ubuntu), during ubuntu start up, i did press the power button and now the laptop is completely death.... Any idea what can be the problem? Thanks ! |

So is it able to turn on at all? Or does it not do anything when you press the button?

Just to add to pomis question Please detach the power adaptor and battery Also remove any external USB devices Hold the ON switch in for 30 secs (dispersing all internal power) Put the power adaptor in ONLY (confirming that the power source is Ok too) Try turning on If it works Turn off, and put the battery back in Turn on Reply back |
