Windows Media Player Errors
Hopefully someone can help me out.
I'm downloading lectures for an online class of mine, and up until yesterday everything was working fine. But i go to watch one today and I get this message: "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because a network error occurred. The server might not be available. Verify that you are connected to the network and that your proxy settings are correct." I tinkered with the Proxy settings but it didn't change anything. I'm connected to my local network, so everything on that end should be fine. Does anyone have any kind of idea what is causing this? I've tried finding help by doing a google search for the error but I just found generic Microsoft answers that didn't help me any. Any help is much appreciated. |

You can take a look here also. Scroll down 3/4 of page to:
Why do I get error C00D11B3 when I try to stream content? Error message: "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because a network error occurred. The server might not be available. Verify that you are connected to the network and that your proxy settings are correct." http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win...vice/0106.mspx This may duplicate info on the sites referenced previously, but use it if you need it. |
