Don't know if you are aware, I did run into something a bit disconcerting. I downloaded Audio Recorder for Free 8.5, found in the download section, and the moment it finished my AV detected a maleware intrusion that attempted to place files in one of my temp folders.

Fortunately it was caught, but others may not be so lucky. I know this site has a reputation of helping people out of such ordeals, so I just wanted to put a bug in someone's ear. Maybe it was something on my end, but I deleted the file and ran full spread on all my scans just in case.

Maybe someone could look into that particular download?

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. For the time being we have put the Audio Recorder for Free download entry on hold upon further investigation for this and any other software offered by this vendor. I'm glad you were not adversely affected by this.
