Issues with openSUSE 10.3
Well i'm a relatively new linux user but i've been batting around a few linux oses (i do run windows as well) and it seems that i'm having issues with my installation now.
I'm using a Dell Inspiron 5150 laptop with a GeForce 5200 Go and what is happenning is that i'm trying to turn on Desktop Effect for openSUSE, though it detects that my card is not in the XGL library... i found a way to overwrite this and somehow now i can't boot into openSUSE without having it freeze at the desktop without having my desktop icons. Whats up with that? How can i get XGL in openSUSE? btw, i'm running the GNOME edition as i prefer GNOME to KDE. Personal preference. |
