Inspiron 1150 Password

My Dell I purchased is giving me trouble. I need to know first is how to find the chip that I have to short out. Second which pins will I have to tamper with is is 3 and 6 or 4 and six. Thanks in advance...

System specs
The chip SHOULD be 24C02 or another 8-legged (like a spider) chip that starts with 24 on the numbers. You will then need to short legs 3 and 6. This chip is an EEPROM and by doing this you will erase the service tag and password. Be aware that this procedure will also disable the Ethernet card so you should get the file labeled DSTCD from this site download.centre4service DOT com which has many programs you can use AFTER you have removed the password.
