Need help

Okay so Im gonna replace my gfs laptops hard drive but im not sure because this is the one she has now and it cost $400 DOLLARS! 60.0GB ATA-100 EIDE hard drive - 4,200 RPM, 2.5in form factor, 9.5mm height.....thats insane http://h20141.www2.hp.com/hpparts/Se...ria=367787-001
So I need to find something I can afford 150 dollars or less.

This is what I am thinking to replace it with let me know if you guys think this is good and if it will work.

No that's the manufactures fully tested one, that's why it's so expensive.

Mind you any other compatible one will do!

Someone else may be able to comment on the best priced HardDrive for your system.
By the way what is your system exactly?

Likely yes, but I would really confirm by going to this thread: http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic100655.html
And clicking on the orange "Interact Online with HP" button
This is a free service
I've used it without even having a HP!

Anyway after you load all the activeX; and I accepts; you'll be able to chat with HP and say "What HardDrive Can I put in this thing?" (or similar )
