Dial up problems
When I am trying to download things, or sit idol online I get disconnected, but as long as I just surf the web I stay connected. Does anyone know how to fix this problem.

I would call my service provider and let them know that if they disconnect you one more time that you will be switching providers

Start Menu -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Internet Options -> Connections
Click on your connection, then on settings. Click on Advanced & see if "Disconnect if idle xx minutes" is ticked. |
