Hi, i am currently enrolled in an IT course and a person from the other classes asked me to fix their laptop, she had a virus and knows nothing about pc's. So i deleted alle partitions and went to install windows XP but it made it to 50% and froze so i started over, same thing, so this time i let it run overnight and at 59% it said "set up was unable to format the partiton, the disk may be damaged(which its not, ive tried 3 now) Make sure your drive is switched on and properly connected to your computer. If the disk is SCSI, make sure your SCSI devices are properly terminated, you must selevt a different partition for windows xp"
Now it wont even let me delete that partiton, hope i didnt ruin her computer
Please help........
