Voodoo3-2000 card

Hello! All
Need help with this card. Voodoo3-2000 installed in a PC with AMD Duron 600mhz, Windows 98SE , Card drivers Version 1.07.00....Problem is i only have 1 choice for resolution, 640 x 480 and 16, 256, 16 bits and 32 bits color...
Why do i only have 640 x 480 choice...The card supports higher resolution than that...

Any help and advise most welcome...

Thanks in advance....Skid...

Do you happen to have anything in the Device Manager with an Exclamation Point on it ?

What's the rest of your config & what monitor is it ? ( just in case )

Hello! Masque...
I am using the driver kit downloaded from Techspot.com as per the following description....

Voodoo3 2/3000 (Windows 9X/ME) Version 1.07.00 WHQL Added support for DirectX(tm) 8

I unzipped and installed it without much success it seems...

Thank you for your help...Best regards..

Thank you all for your help friends,i have found the answer....

How to get resolution other than 640 by 480 with a Voodoo3.

Go into Display Properties in the Control Panel, go to Settings, then Advanced, and then go to Monitor and deselect the "autodetect" option. Next you have to manually select your monitor make and model number. This can also be accomplished by enabling "Plug and Play Monitor", or installing the correct .inf file for your monitor.

Again, thank you all for your help....

Best regards....Skid..
