Vista trouble
i recently purchased a new toshiba laptop and am not at all satisfied with vista or the toshiba support
does anyone know where i could purchase a recovery cd of XP that will match my computer ..? i am not very computer savvy but a friend suggested a dual boot would that work? any suggestions are welcome .. i am getting fed up thanks.. |

Before doing anything else, make sure Vista is updated all the way to SP1

i have downloaded all available updates
i am just not satisfied with vista this new laptop should be really fast compared to my old one and it is not much faster at all |

I guess laptop manufacturers don't bother to include new multi-core processors and 2GB of RAM in some of these Vista laptops. A fresh install of XP Pro, SP3 will probably be your best option
