Correct power supply hookup?

and need help hooking power up correctly.Here is the power cable it came with in the middle http://www.newegg.com/Product/ShowI...on=SAPPHIRE+Radeon+HD+3850+100228L+Video+Card
Do i need to hook both of those cables to the power source?

Yes, or the eight pin connector won't provide the proper power to the graphics card. Some power supplies come with the eight pin connector but I suppose that yours does not.
