Sp94 ??

I have just recently ordered two 256 megs of pc4000 (OCZ brand) and now i'm ready to get a new heatsink and fan.
I want to get the SP94 with a vantec tornado fan. Before i buy it just yet though i was curious if anyone else has a giga-byte 8vt800L. I don't want to spend like $60 bucks to find it's not compatible with my motherboard.

The thermalright website says the "SP-94 is designed to fit all Intel P4-478 motherboards without the stock retention bracket that came with motherboard"

Is the retention bracket the Orange thing holding my fan and heatsink ?

A picture of my motherboard can be found at nutrend.com

Thanks !

...If it's not compatible can you guys recommend some other options

the retention device you mentioned is for that heat sink. The only problme you may encounter is that the heatsink may have its own retention bracket shipped with it. it should work though.
