DVD Burner

heya guyz,
i bought today new LG burner, type:
H55N LG DVDX20 DL
i try to burn some pictures on it, but i get the following problem:

There is no disc in the drive.
Please insert a writable CD into drive E:\.

now, i know the cd is writable cause i got about 50 cds n i burnt on some of them on another computer.
i right clicked the device and went to Recording, and i got that thing marked.

it might be cause i need some updates for the driver?

More details

What software are you useing ? Did it come with the burner ?
Need this to continue.
And of course your OS.Makes a difference if it was W95.lol
 
i'm not using any software, i just double left click the driver, and then drag the pictures to there.. i tried burning some songs with Media Player, but it said same thing, i need to insert cd..

Drag to where ?
You need something like Nero.
Name your OS PLEASE !

i'll try getting some software..
but its weird man! in my previous pc i could burn everything using that way.. drag n write =P

Drag where.I can't guess.I need an answer to continue.

i open My computer, double click the driver, and drag the files to there, then Write them on the cd.
but i just phoned my uncle, he works in Intel, he explained to me what happens, and told me i must use Nero..
i'm downloading trail version now, i'll update later.

Your welcome

I recommend useing the Nero StartSmart.
The default settings should be ok for a start.
Note : Burners can reject certain brands of discs.
They might have a listing at their website.
 
problem fixed, had to use Nero, cause of some problem with windows, and it locks the CD after i put it, so i can't write on it..
anyway, fixed :)
