Add a forum for Windows server

I see alot of questions for both Windows server(2003, 2008, ect) and Desktop Windows(XP, Vista, ect)..

What about adding a Windows Server forum instead of just lumping everything into a Windows forum????

Feedback welcome..

Well, I say no... much bigger forums have been able to manage just as well with a single Windows forum or similar divisions for other OS and topics as we do.

We will still hear your feedback however

I too would like a fine-grained approach to segregating topics, but I've been over ruled
more than once -- eg Windows XP vs Vista --
but as has been pointed out elsewhere, users frequently post to the wrong forum
topics already and more choices just makes more work.

I voted no, because really, how many Windows Server questions do we actually get? Very very few.

Windows OS forum does get a ton of traffic, it is often that I check in there and there are 15-20 threads with new posts since my last visit, and I'm usually on TS at least twice a day. I would guess about 70% are XP related and 30% Vista. So even at 30% of the total Windows OS posts a specific Vista forum would still get more activity than even Misc Software & Utilities.
