I currently have Windows XP and I am thinking about upgrading to Windows Vista for Directx 10. So I have a two questions on Vista:

1) If I upgrade to Windows Vista can I go back to Windows XP without having to backup my data?

2) Are my system specs (as listed below) high enough to have Windows Vista running quickly?

EVGA NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT 1GB DDR2 Video Card
1GB DDR2 667 Trancend Ram
Intel Core 2 Duo 1.6ghz Processer
450W Power Suply
