Promise to come back and visit your self on a day u would remember say your graduation day

If u did not come back and visit yourself then you pretty much know that you will never ride in a time machine

this is a good idea, unfortunately it would never work for me as I would make the promise and then later either forget about or decide that it is way to much of a hassle to actually follow through with it.
