How do you get rid of the Security Toolbar 7.1? I have tried so many things in the last 3 hours to no avail.

Sorry a little brief, but this should remove it fully

Open Add/Remove Programs from Control Panel. Uninstall the following software from there.

1) IE security tools

2) Windows security alert

Run SmitFraudFix (in Safe Mode) http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix_En.php

Lastly download (update) and run Malware Bytes http://www.besttechie.net/tools/mbam-setup.exe
