Hi all
I have the above mentioned laptop which I have been told will upgrade to 1gb of ram but is unwilling to accept it when i try.
does anyone know of a way round this or indeed if it is actually possible

The issue I have is that when i install the two 512 modules that I have the system refuses to recognise them - any thoughts a to how i can change its mind?

Does the original still work?
Do you know any other details of the new ram, speed, manufacture

Thanks for the link - the crucial scan confirms that 512mb is the maximum that the laptop will handle, which is a tad annoying but there ya go!!
