Can I upgrade Toshiba Satellite pro s2400-103 to 1gb ram?
Hi all
I have the above mentioned laptop which I have been told will upgrade to 1gb of ram but is unwilling to accept it when i try. does anyone know of a way round this or indeed if it is actually possible thanks |

Thanks for letting me know!
The issue I have is that when i install the two 512 modules that I have the system refuses to recognise them - any thoughts a to how i can change its mind? & yep you beat toshiba forums

Not all rams are the same
Does the original still work? Do you know any other details of the new ram, speed, manufacture You can "scan your system" with the working ram in it here: http://www.crucial.com/ Actually that would work well. How did that go? |

Sorry so slow replying!
Thanks for the link - the crucial scan confirms that 512mb is the maximum that the laptop will handle, which is a tad annoying but there ya go!! thanks again for your help Rob |
