DELL D600 BIOS password

Hi,

Can anyone help with a BIOS password for DELL D600 with the 24c256n BIOS chip. Been trying the shorting method on pins 3 and 5 but no success. Service tag is 9SYYM1J, Express service code 213 428 157 67.

Dell support want the original owner details which I don't have as this was an eBay purchase.
 
Then go to the "Mobile Computing" thread and look for listings that will provide links to provide password removal help for a modest charge. You got the laptop for a much cheaper price. Be prepared to spend a little more money to remove the password
