Why's my RAM going down?

Um it used to show as 1gig (1024MB), its now showing it as 0.98gig. Why is this happening?! When looking in bios, it showed events, like there were 32 battery failures, 5 keyboard failures and 1 memory loss/failure. Why?

Im so lazy to take out the graphics card and see wat model the battery is and then go find it sumwhere dont even know where. So ive been getting errors of it maybe once in 20 times, i just ignored them lol...

I dont think it has much to do with my ram anyways :S

I know what you are talking about, the graphics card is blocking the battery.

they are bog standard. Just go into a PC shop and they'll sell you one. It takes 2 secs to remove the GPU and stick in a new battery.

1 to .98 is nothing, and its likely just an update that changes how it reports. Nothing is 'disappearing'
