My Router appears to reset it's settings daily

Ok so last week I got some trouble with my router (d-link)
I reset it to the defaults then went to 192.168.1.1

Got in and put in my username pw and the rest!
Got my internet back and everything was fine!

Next day I wake up and try to access internet. wouldn't load.
Checked my settings, they'd been reset again.
This has happened in a loop every day.

The settings I input only last a day or reset whenever I turn my router off at night.
I've tried inputting the settings in Firefox, as safari doesn't log me in.
I tried Opera too!!

No they must be in the router (ie it's not dial-up)

Did you select :"Save settings to router, and restart router" (wording may be different, but about right)

The Router will then Save all your modifications and restart (Actually I think it's "Save All" syntax)

Umm well it's dlinks site.
The only thing I can see is apply.
I'll try applying and then resetting the router.
