N nikekat Aug 8, 2008 #1 I have a HP a520n (about 3 yrs old) and just purchased a lcd tv to use as my monitor. Followed instructions on how to hook up to computer (vga and audio cables) but it is not recognizing it. HELP! What else do I need to do?

C CCT Posts: 2,610 +6 Aug 8, 2008 #2 If you used a NVidia card you would go to NVidia control panel and under the television section 'change the signal or HD format' I believe. I assume something similar for other brands.
