Page_Fault_in_Nonpaged_area

For months now, my computer keeps giving me the BSOD.

0x00000050 (0x97e19604,0x00000000,0x805ef643,0x00000000)

It is really annoying, and is making it very difficult to get my work done. What could be the cause of this? Please Help!

the key to fix this is that when u install a fresh copy of XP? u must install SP2 or SP3 "BEFORE" u install any new drivers eg. mb or gpu drivers

A 0x50 error is normally caused by Hardware or Software, in terms of hardware Defective Memory (RAM, L2 Cache (CPU), Video RAM).

Could you give a bit more detail, does it occur after a certain time period or randomly.

What programs are used at the time, are they the same program every time or a different program every time the BSOD occurs.

You could start off by running Memtest86 to test your RAM.

Memtest86 Instructions
Download the pre-built version of Memtest86 (Link Below) and burn it onto a CD using ISO Recorder (Link Below) other ISO burning software will work as well (E.g. Nero). After this boot off the CD and start the test going and let it run for 3-5 hours (Minimum of 7 Passes) or Overnight which is best.

i never understood the "Page fault in nonpaged area message".

how is that even possible. I think of it like

if you have a sheet of paper on a desk, and then you write on the desk instead of the paper and then the teacher comes and gives you detention

Sorry I have to laugh at that, yes you would get in Trouble for writing on the desk instead of paper.

I know myself .
