Time line design
Can anyone supply detailed advice on how to design/copy a "timeline" - i.e. a visual, showing dates (centuries?) along the bottom of a page, and entries above and below, illustrating (text and icon?) significant points, like births of famous individuals, wars, major events, discoveries, etc.?
I'd be grateful for any tips! Thank you in advance... |

You can use MS Word, Drawing tools to place the timeline and draw vertical lines (if desired) to text / Icons placed above on the page.
Set the page into Landscape mode and reduce the margins to make the page as wide as possible. |

Timeline
Thanks JO Beard. I don't actually have MS Word, but do have Works
and various Serif design packages, so will experiment as you suggest. |
