Trouble Shooting: Blue Screen on Startup
I power on my monitor and computer. A blue screen loads only displaying a fundamental picture of a monitor. No other process appears. I need help as it no longer loads up my Operating System Windows XP.
Recently my computer moved in and out of my room as we had fitted in new carpet. I had placed my computer back but I have misplaced my keyboard so it is no longer connected to the computer, I assume the Operating system should load anyway. I have checked the plugs for my monitor, mouse and power and they are all secure. The monitor is an Optima km-521 My computer had previously always started when I switched on the power buttons. This happen atleast once each day. I would shut down the computer by holding the power button. |

No, in most computers, you need that keyboard connected. You can do without the mouse in many cases, but not the keyboard.
