How do I enable the Thumbnail View for Folders in Windows Explorer for Windows 2000. When I try to enable it, I cant see pictures.

You question is kind of a contradiction. Are you trying to view pictures? Th following views are available and the choice is made by clicking on the one you want using the views icon to the right of the folders icon:
Thumbnails
Tiles
Icons
List
Details

Pictures are usually seen in the Thumbnail view.

You must click on the section in the explorer tree first. Once done, click on the views icon to see the files that have opened on the right screen in the view of your choice.

NOTE: this is not the word VIEW on the Toolbar. It's a square icon with tiny circles to the right of the folder icon.

When I click on the thumbnail view, you should be able to see tiny thumbnail photos, all I can see is a bitmap image, no photos, it appears to be un enabled.
