Urgent help needed for branded used PC
i got my branded used pc in this specification:
Intel (R) Pentium 4 CPU 2.40 GHZ 2.39 GHZ, 512 MB of Ram IBM Data Fax Modem Sony DVD-ROM DDU 220E Level 2 cache:512kb integrated BIOS version: A05 Dell precision work station 340 series Hard disk: 77gb Motherboard: I DON'T KNOW 1- now the matter is, in branded used pc its a new win installation and it loads within sec's but in old pc (*unbranded) which speed is 550mhz, intel P3, 128MB of Ram takes a lot of time in loading due to files, when i install new win in old pc it also load faster but not like DELL (new one). 2- What if i will migrate my 3-4 lack files in dell (branded used pc) will it also load faster? 3- And what u will say about my pc speed? 4- What if i will face any hardware failure problem in future, like losing power supply. (can i easily upgrade power supply and other hardware) 5- And how to check how much processor and ram has been used? |

All your files will load faster yes, however I advise getting another 512MB of RAM to make the total 1GB. It will make performance much smoother.
Aside from that, everything else looks ok. You're good to go. ![]() |
